Trade fairs in the United States are an important part of the global marketing strategy of our client, a leading German manufacturers of medical technology products. The biggest challenge was meeting the company’s above-average high quality standards for its design while creating a stand that meets American expectations, all within a given budget.
fairconcept was asked to develop a stand concept which would then be tendered out to a stand construction partner.
A design was created to address the cost drivers in US stand construction: suspension points and weight (drayage). In parallel, we screened stand builders in the US and Europe to identify a four companies that could meet our client’s requirements and would have an equal opportunity at winning the subsequent tender. This was followed by the tender, a final presentation of bids, negotiations, and the final awarding of the contract.
